Leave New Zealand Children a Legacy
You can help Ronald McDonald House Charities make a difference to New Zealand children well into the future. You can help us provide the services that make such a difference to their lives.
When leaving a legacy you have a number of choices. Some include
- Making a bequest for the general purposes of the Charity or your favourite Ronald McDonald House.
- Setting up a permanent endowment fund so that the value you have created in your life continues to assist children. In this case, you may wish to appoint trustees of your own choice, or you can nominate the Charity as trustee. There is no ongoing administrative charge when the Charity holds an endowment fund
- Creating a named trust in memory of a loved one
- Leaving an asset, such as a commercial property or a farm that will go on generating income
- Funding a specific RMHC programme of particular significance to you
Your bequest may be for a stated amount of money, it may be a share of the entire estate, it may be in relation to a specific asset, or it may be for all or part of everything that is left over after you have provided for family and friends. Your legal adviser can help you to find the right words to give effect to your wishes.
