McDonald's restaurants have a history of giving back to the communities
in which they operate. In addition to their leadership in establishing
the Ronald McDonald Houses in New Zealand, they provide fundraising
partnerships in their restaurants, and lend resources and expertise to
help us accomplish our mission. McDonald's owner operators and staff
are also tireless volunteers and fundraisers for their local Ronald
McDonald Houses.
In New Zealand McDonald’s support means the operational
costs of the charity are covered. That means that every cent we receive
from donations goes towards our programmes – no donor money is used for
administration costs.
